I know i have been away for a long time .. I was just busy all the time plus i have found instagram a faster way to share fashion and lifestyle :P
Anyways making things short i have found this amazing program Badir Award that is being initiated by the General Organisation for Youth and Sports, under the patronage of – Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, -. The program aims to support youth driven initiatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where each year 2 fields for the initiatives will be chosen. In its first year, 2012, GOYS has chosen to support both social and cultural initiatives.
The programs strives to encourage the youth to (implement) their ideas, (prospects), and talents in creating their own initiatives. It creates a positive atmosphere of creativity and competition. (that give back to society.)
The groups will compete over the course of 3 months (oct – dec), after which a winner will be chosen from each subject area (social and cultural). The winners will be decided through a panel of judges, as well as voting of an audience.
The winners of the program will receive financial support from GOYS which will allow the groups to continue their initiatives until the end of the year. The will also receive training through workshops, which will aim to improve their skills of managing and “improving” their own initiatives.
Registration for “Badir” kicks off at the Youth Innovation Center at Um Al Hassam.
Registration will continue until the 19th of September, 2012. Information booklets and registration forms are available at Youth Innovation Center.
